It’s too noisy in my residence hall to study or sleep! What can I do? Get the Dorm 411!

LIVE DORM SMART TIP:

Let’s face it! Unless your family is the size of the Duggar family, it’s probably a whole lot noisier in your residence hall than at home, making it difficult to study or get a good night’s sleep.

Consider investing in a quality set of noise cancelling headphones or ear buds to reduce the noise.

Other options to consider:
  • Use ear plugs.
  • Take cat naps during the day (not during class).
  • Consider studying in the library or if weather permits, a quiet place on the campus grounds.
